Chase joined Save the Sound in August 2023 as the Peter B. Cooper Legal Fellow.

Prior to joining Save the Sound, he worked as a Legal Fellow with Riverkeeper, Inc. in Ossining, NY. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in May 2022, where he served as a Managing Editor on the Journal of Law & Inequality. During law school, he worked alongside attorneys with the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy (MCEA) through the University of Minnesota Energy & Environmental Law Clinic. In addition, he worked as a Legal Intern for Great Rivers Environmental Law Center in St. Louis, MO.

Before going to law school, Chase graduated from the University of Rochester with a BA in Physics and Economics, with Minors in Mathematics, Legal Studies, and Computer Science. During his time at Rochester, Chase had the opportunity to intern with Scottish Parliament while studying abroad.

Outside of advocating for the environment, Chase enjoys exploring the outdoors, reading nonfiction, and playing the occasional video game.
