Matt O’Brien joined Save the Sound in June of 2021 as one of the Major Gift Officers on our Development team.

He joins us with many years of experience conducting fundraising campaigns all across the country for the Catholic Church. He has worked in many different cities from Oakland, CA, to Providence, RI, and most recently in Memphis, TN.

Matt grew up in South Windsor, CT and attended Western New England University where he majored in Sociology and was four-year starter on their football team. He currently lives in St. James, NY, with his wife, Paige, and dog, Bobby.

Dana Dam Site Walk - Please join us for a site visit led by our project team, who will talk about plans for removing the 90-foot-long dam and restoring a portion of the River to a natural meandering path instead of its current straight line along the adjacent Metro North Railroad tracks.
