Val joined Save the Sound as the Administrative Associate in January 2008. She graduated from Albertus Magnus College with her Associates in Science in Business Administration and Bachelor’s in Human Services.

She mentors with the HOPE Program at Yale New Haven – St. Raphael’s Hospital, and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management. She also works in the community with her church.

For fun and relaxation, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and grandchildren.
