Xochitl Garcia, the Urban Waters Initiative’s Community Leader, and Melissa Pappas, Save the Sound’s ecological communications specialist will present on how they recruited, trained, and supported 13 Fair Haven residents in this PhotoVoice program. They will share stories from the participants and the resulting photos that represent community-identified priorities for improving the lower Mill River watershed. The in-person presentation will be followed by a viewing of the photography exhibit and a Q&A session. Light refreshments will be provided.
