Amanda joined Save the Sound in August 2022 and works closely with the development, program, and communications staff. She grew up in New Haven County and earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a Cognate in Digital Marketing & Advertising from Liberty University. Prior to joining Save the Sound, she was a freelance communications professional that focused on web and graphic design, event planning, copywriting, and photography for small businesses and nonprofits. Amanda has always been passionate about community, sustainability, and environmental justice. She is eager to be a part of an organization that’s dedicated to creating meaningful change.

On the weekends, you can find Amanda experimenting with lacto-fermentation, restoring a 1960s Sunfish sailboat, or hiking throughout New England.
