Kathryn Stamps has been leading and guiding technology, data, and software projects for over fourteen years. Her areas of expertise include software development, technology procurement, project management, databases, and data analytics.
She joined Save the Sound in 2024 as a project management Fellow, continued as a consultant, and since 2025 has served as the Communications Manager. In her previous roles as Lead CMS Developer, Software Engineer, and Quality Assurance Engineer at an international digital marketing agency, she specialized in bridging communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, onboarding and coaching technical staff, and fostering cross-functional team collaboration.
Kathryn holds an M.F.A. in Fine Art from Hunter College, a graduate certificate in nonprofit management from the UConn School of Public Policy’s Encore program, and studied public relations and professional writing through UC Berkeley Extension. She has earned certifications from the Scrum Alliance in Agile project management and from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) as a software tester.
