Anne has served in leadership and consulting positions for not-for-profit environmental organizations for over 20 years. She joined Save the Sound to lead the membership engagement team with dedication and a goal of growing Save the Sound’s base of support in Connecticut, Westchester County, NYC and Long Island, to help take action for our region’s environment.

Anne began her professional career at Long Island Soundkeeper working alongside Terry Backer. She has worked the past ten years at Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition, a Litchfield County based watershed organization committed to protecting and restoring its rivers and aquifer through science-based ecological protections and education.

Anne is a graduate from University of Scranton and holds a B.A. in Communications. She has devoted her career to conservation and protecting the environment as a fundraising and communications specialist. Anne lives in Seymour, CT with her husband, son and dog and enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, camping, gardening and going to concerts.
