As Campaign Manager for Save the Sound, Kim provides strategic leadership in support of the organization’s fundraising campaign. She has 15 years’ experience as a fundraising professional with an extensive background in non-profit management. Kim joins Save the Sound from her recent role as Development Director at the University of New Haven and was previously the Chief Fundraising Officer for several non-profit arts organizations as well.

Kim has a passion for purpose-driven fundraising that continues in her work supporting the environment and our regions’ natural resources.

Williams received her B.A. from Western CT State University, M.A. from Ithaca College, and D.M.A from the University of South Carolina. While her degrees are in music, Williams has also worked in higher education, politics, and marketing.

In her spare time, Kim enjoys reading, spending time with her sweet family and playing “Killer Sudoku.”
