Siddharth is a lifelong resident of the Long Island Sound watershed who fostered his love for the ocean in, on, and around the waters of Pelham Bay Park. As the Program Assistant for Save the Sound’s New York office, he provides general programmatic support to the Director as well as to the communications and water quality teams.

Siddharth earned his B.S. in Conversation Biology with a focus in Aquatic Sciences from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in May 2018, where he was involved urban waterway monitoring as an officer for the campus chapter of the American Fisheries Society. He held seasonal positions in Rhode Island, New York City, North Carolina, and the Bahamas before eventually joining Save the Sound in January of 2020. When he’s not protecting the Long Island Sound, he’s probably playing his bass, cooking something spicy, or riding his bike to the beach.
